Let’s Get Better - Victorian Department of Health x Showpony

My personal thoughts are that for too long, Women's Health has been under researched and (quite frankly) often dismissed in the doctor's office. I've spent decades searching for answers relating to those 'female things'.

Countless tests, unknown pain, prodding, hiding ovaries, scans, research etc - followed by a lot of dismissal, unanswered questions and the sentence 'I am sure it's just hormones and it will pass' (SIGH and EYE ROLL)

My greatest comfort usually comes from talking to my girlfriends who had been through similar experiences, as they always listen and quite often have a story to tell.

That's why it was such an honour to be part of Let's Get Better, with Showpony Advertising and The Victorian Department of Health.

This Public Health Campaign is focused on changing the way Women's Health is supported across Victoria. Making services more accessible, affordable and focused so that women are heard in times when they really need it.

Shifting the conversation from simply enduring - to making real progress.
