Cat is a Northside based Melbourne / Narrm portrait photographer and creative director, who specialises in unfussy, natural portraits, lifestyle & documentary photography.
With over 20 years experience, she’s a full-service creative who can shoot, light, creative direct, produce, retouch and direct.
Her practice centers on honest, human-led imagery and she is regularly commissioned by production companies and agencies to create authentic visual narratives for local and international campaigns.
She has photographed a range of well-known Australian figures and collaborated with brands including Fender, Yamaha, Peroni, Medibank and Heinz.
Her style is authentic and in the moment.
Alongside commercial commissions, Catherine maintains an active personal practice, which has been exhibited nationally, including the Ballarat Biennale and as a finalist for both The Martin Kantor Prize and The Percivals.
On the side of working commercially, is developing an intimate body of personal small-scale film black and white photographs, produced entirely by hand in the darkroom, where process and materiality are central to the work.
Her first love, will always be creative portrait photography.
Available for travel and on set, long form assignments.
